Following the Russian military aggression on Ukraine, and in line with the decision of the European Council to suspend cooperation with Russia and Belarus, the European Commission and the Managing Authorities of CBC programmes where Russia or Belarus are involved, had a meeting in Brussels on 22nd March. In the meeting they explored ways to continue the implementation of concerned ENI CBC programmes. As a result, it was understood that the EU and Norwegian beneficiaries may carry on the project operations, whereas the activities and financial flows on the Russian and Belarusian side have to be suspended. Further information will be provided in due course. The projects have received available information.
The Managing Authority of Kolarctic CBC 2014-2020 Programme will discuss with each project separately to determine the conditions for continuation and the necessary measures.
