New personnel in the Managing Authority

The Managing Authority of Kolarctic CBC 2014-2020 programme has new human resources. In the beginning of August, Riikka Oittinen has started her work as the new Programme Manager. 

Riikka Oittinen has a long experience of international cooperation, especially that between Finland and Russia. She has been involved in the Neighbourhood programme and ENPI programme between the South East Finland and Russia – both in programme bodies and in projects. Riikka has worked in Eastern Finland and now she is eager to get to know the Regional Council of Lapland, where the MA is situated, and the Kolarctic CBC region. The first weeks of her work, she is participating in information events and stakeholder meetings all over the region. She is fluent in Russian.

Another new strength of Kolarctic CBC Managing Authority is Marja-Riitta Lukkari who has started in May as a new CBC Coordinator. Marja-Riitta has a long experience of work in different administrative bodies but also in NGO’s and private companies. Marja-Riitta has worked in various project implementation tasks from financial management to project management. This is certainly a good contribution to the competence collection of the Managing Authority of Kolarctic CBC.
