The Arctic Awards is an annual project competition designed to highlight exceptional projects focusing on topics of particular relevance to the Arctic area. The objective of the Arctic Award is to identify good practice, promote Arctic cross- border collaboration, and raise awareness among projects of each other. The Arctic Award winner is selected from projects funded by five Arctic programmes – Northern Periphery & Arctic Programme, Interreg Botnia – Atlantica, Interreg Nord, Kolarctic CBC programmes, and Karelia CBC programme
It’s time to celebrate the three Arctic Awards finalists and discover who is the winner of the 2022 Arctic Awards!
The event takes place in Lapland Hotel, Oulu, and is a side event to two seminars: View to the Arctic Forests is an international seminar on forest-related project results in the north on Wednesday 25th January and Circular economy and waste management in the Arctic a seminar on circular economy and waste management related project results on Thursday 26th January.
