The JMC took a look at the past and the future

In its meeting on 29^th November the Joint Monitoring Committee of Kolarctic CBC handled, and was informed about, various activities connected to programme implementation. Among other things, the JMC approved an annual report of Kolarctic CBC for the period 2017-2018, to be submitted to the EC.

The JMC will have its next meeting 11.-12. April, 2019. It is the meeting where the JMC selects the projects from the 3^rd Call for Proposals.

The choice of meeting date has an impact on the applications that various organisations are now preparing to Kolarctic CBC (deadline 21^st December): the decisions on Norwegian and Swedish national co-financing for these projects must be submitted to the Managing Authority 4 weeks prior to the meeting, this means by 14^th March.

An exception to take into account in Sweden

The Managing Authority of Kolarctic CBC and the Swedish partners of projects must adjust themselves with the fact that one central application system of Swedish co-financing, the “Min Ansökan” of Tillväxtverket (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth) is closed until 10^th January for system updates. Some Swedish applicants can do their co-financing application only after that.
