Topical issues and prospects for interregional cooperation were discussed on 20-23th September in Arkhangelsk, at the 10th International Conference of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Russia and Finland. The conference was organized as part of the business program of the Margaritinskaya Fair. In frames of thematic section “Cross-border cooperation: freedom of movement as a sustainable factor in the development of adjacent territories” Olga Klisheva presented opportunities of participation in the Kolarctic CBC Programme for business enterprises, and gave a brief overview of the results of the 1st and 2nd Call for project proposals. Challenges of control and supervision regulation of border regions, development of tourism, scientific and technological cooperation in adjacent territories were also discussed at the conference.
Study tours to local enterprises were organized as part of the Margaritinskaya Fair’s cultural and business program. Its participants visited a diamond deposit and mining field, Arkhangelsk pulp and paper mill, the NArFU innovation center.
