The 3rd Call for Proposals will be launched on 21st September, 2018
The Joint Monitoring Committee of Kolarctic CBC decided in its meeting on 24th April that a call for proposals will be launched on 21st September, 2018. It will close on 21st December, 2018.
The JMC stated that especially project proposals to Thematic Objectives
7: Improvement of accessibility to the regions, development of sustainable and climate-proof transport and communication networks and systems. and
10: Promotion of border management and border security, mobility and migration management
 are encouraged.
Documents for applying will be published in kolarctic.info in June.
The MA and the Branch Offices in Sweden, Norway and Russia are arranging spreading of information in each country. This means some similar information events as during previous calls for proposals, but the MA and BO:s are also prepared to individual consultations. Concerning these, potential applicants can send their suggestions to the Managing Authority or the Branch Office in their country.

Short about the programme timetable
The Managing Authority can sign Grant Contracts with the 18 already selected projects after the Russian Federation has ratified the Financing Agreement between the Russian Federation and the EC. According to information given to the MA by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation, this will happen by the end of July, 2018.
After the ratification, the Grant Contracts can be signed in the second month after the ratification. To avoid more delay in the project implementation, the MA:s goal is to carry out the Grant Contract negotiations with the Lead Partners by the end of June. The Lead Partners and the MA still have things to do in the GC negotiations, and the MA is waiting for answers to several questions that it has sent to Lead Partners.
